Having audio problems with Toy Story 3 blu ray movie. Previews are fine, but movie is nothing but static. Tried the same dvd in a Sony player and did not experience issue. There are many posts online from people having the same problem with various movies on the LG player. Checked, but there are no firmware updates at this time. Is this a limitation of the LG BD370V player, and the newer formatted blu ray movies??

On a side note, after you follow the above advice of pressing the audio button twice the sound selection in the top left of the screen will read Eng2 briefly.

Or you can go into the audio set-up menu and change the audio from 7.1 to 5.1 and it should fix the problem immediately.

It may because the region code of your LG Blu-ray player and Blu-ray discs doesn't match. You need to remove the region code from the disc. In this case, Leawo Blu-ray Copy will be helpful to you. This software can decrypt anti-piracy protections easily, letting you watch everything you want ignoring the region automatically. You can also use this software to check the soundtrack of your Blu-ray movies.

It appears that the device is capable of multidisk formats though not entirely manucfactured for that purpose. Actually blu rar disks are not that different from DVDs. However, to achieve the experience of Blu ray, should acquire an entirely compartible disk player.

I had the problem with this player and disc where the audio worked for the previews but once the film started it got jittery and the sound went in and out. I went to the audio set-up and switched it from 7.1 to 5.1 and the problem was immediately solved. Is this the problem you have? I surfed around and a lot of people have experienced this problem with Toy Story 3 and this particular player.

Toy Story 3 audio works good in menu and beginning videos but not the movie itself...wtf? The audio scrambles, over modulates and blows the speakers.

Is this an issue with the movie itself? I don't have the lg bd270 blue ray, my movie copy is a regular dvd style but I'm having the same problem. the trailers sound fine, but then you get to the movie and it sounds like it's in a tunnel. Have you heard anything more about this problem?

Toy Story 3 will not play on my Blue Ray player all other blue ray disk's work fine.

Have you updated your Blu-Ray player recently? All BD players need to be updated from time to time because of the growing technology of Blu-Ray. Its always been a con of BD players. Best thing to do is have your player connect to the internet.
I hope this is the back of your player. Connect your Cat5 (Ethernet cable) to your BD player and than to your router or modem. The port should look like this on the back of your player.

Once you have this connected start your player and it will have a option in the menu to update. Once the update is complete Toy Story 3 and all new BD discs should work. If not, its possible that the disc is bad. More often you just need to update the player.
