1)Go to menu from the touch pad [the icon in right corner] 2)Settings->Application settings->Calls->Voice Call->Call waiting 3)then activate it

To activate call waiting follow the steps below:

  1. While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Menu
  2. Select Settings (9)
  3. Select Set Calls (6)
  4. Select Voice Call (2)
  5. Select Call Waiting (2)
  6. Press the left soft key for Activate to enable Call Waiting

Note: Call waiting service must be enabled on your account with your service provider to take advantage of this functionality on the SGH-A827 (Access) handset. Please consult with your provider for information regarding any additional fees that may be incurred.

    I got the solution. I was fedup with finding how to activate call waiting....finally i got it.

    1)Go to menu from the touch pad [the icon in right corner]
    2)Settings->Application settings->Calls->Voice Call->Call waiting
    3)then activate it
