The crown of the watch has two clicks, pull it gently once and you can set the date and day, pull it gently again a second time and you can set the time. The proper way to set the time and date is to set first the day, date late at the actual date, then move the hands around the clock until the date change at 12 oclock this is evening, then moving the hands around until you reach the actual time. By doing so you will set the day, date and time in syn to 24 hrs change.

example: you want to change it to sat 12th 11am
set the day and date to fri 11th
then move the hands around clockwise until the day and date change at 12 oclock continue moving the hands until you reach 11am

I have guven this watch to my son everything is fine, but the clock hands are totaly wrong! how do i fix this?

Is this a eco-drive watch where you set the digital then the watch sets the hands? If so, make sure you are in the proper digital time zone. Here is the Eco-Drive watch web site http://www.citizenwatch.com/COA/English/settings_int.asp?caliber=C651&interactive=C650

If it is not eco drive, you can still get to the special section at Citizen for your watch via the link I sent to you.

[email protected] is actually meant by daylight saving time. my Citizen watch always indicates this setting is off (I am in U.K.)

Daylight savings time is primarily an USA thing. We set our clocks ahead every Spring in March and hour and back an hour in the fall. The idea was invented by Ben Franklin centuries ago to save energy and it is still done with the same idea in mind. Read elsewhere to see how it saves energy, debatable. Not all part of the country observe DST. Just turn it off and you should be fine. You may need to correct the time.

Describe your Citizen Skyhawk Eco-Drive JR306059F Wrist Watch Problem: How to correct 0 position of 24 four hour hand. I think its done in conjunction with hour hand but how?

Here is how to correct the 0 Position for your watch.

While your the crown of your watch is down in the starting position , turn the crown until the mode hand (this is the circle at the bottom of the face) reaches CHR

At this time now pull out the crown until it clicks two times, two the second setting of the crown.

This will bring the watch to the 0 position correction function.
you can turn the crown clock wise to correct the hour hand.

press the a button to switch hand to second, or press again to switch to minute. Then use crown again to correct 0 position.

The hour and the 24 hour hand is in conjunction with each other.

then push down the crown all the way in and you should be all set.

I can't get the clock hands to correspond with the digital time.

You must set the "Zero" position for your watch. Follow the instructions at this address and your problem should be corrected.
