You can probably trace which colors go to the smaller of the amps... Yellow is often used for tweeter but there really is no standard. Striped wire is probably the minus lead. If a pair is heavier, that would be the pair for the woofer... and red is often positive for woofer and black the minus. Searching the Mackie schematics doesn't really show colors. You could call their service dept.

Need wiring diagram for Randall rx412

The four speakers are split into two groups left and right. You connect the positive terminal on the upper left speaker to the positive terminal on on the bottom left speaker. Then repeat process connecting negative to negative on the same two left speakers. Then connect one wire from the upper left positive to the positive connector on the jack that is marked 4ohm LEFT on the plate attached to the rear of the speaker cab. The do the same connecting a wire from the negative terminal to the negative terminal on the same left jack. Now repeat the process on the right side in exactly the same way this time connecting to the 4ohm RIGHT jack. The switch that is in-between the two jacks can be set for either channel or for both together for stereo at 8 ohms HOPE THIS HELPS

Which wire yellow or blue goes on red post

Peavey color indicates that Blue is Negative And Yellow Is Positive, so Yellow goes to + Speaker Terminal.

On my peavey pro 15 neo speakers i don't know which wire is for what. What is the black, red, blue and yellow wires for?

black and red will goto 1 speaker. and blue/yellow to the other. typically red and yellow are + and black and blue are -. the crossover board might tell you which is which where they solder to it. but i'm pretty sure the black/red goto woofer. try hooking up both to woofer and listen to it. 1 way is going to sound horribly wrong lol. that will mean you hooked up the tweeter leads to the woofer. but DO NOT HOOK UP WOOFER LEADS TO TWEETER. thats why i say to do it on woofer.

I need a color coded wiring diagram for a peavey PV115 speaker cabinet.

Usually the colors you will find are red and black pair and yellow and white... USUALLY the red/blk pair go to the tweeter horn with red going to the + lead of the horn drivers. Usually the yellow/white pair go to the woofer with the white going to the + lead of the woofer in Peavey speakers... HOWEVER you never know if someone has rewired the cabinet so going by colors is NOT the best way to go... This should have the "soundgard" circuit in it and the lead that goes throught the lamp and resistor that is NOT connected to the inout jack is the TWEETER + lead. The pair that connects to the inout jack DIRECTELY is the woofer leads and the TIP connection of a 1/4 inch jack is the + woofer lead. Verifying these connections is the best method.

Hi, I have own a pair of peavey impulse 1012 speakers. One of them has developed a fault in that the output is terribly owful at low volume compared to the other one but an increase in the output from the...

"terribly owful " is not a descripption we can really understand. You need to describe whether the probllem is with the bass or treble speaker... lows/highs... The only suggestion we can give is to open the unit. You will need a LONG phillips screwdriver and remove all the screws in wells around the edges from the back and then gently separate the shell. Inspect for loose wiring. You don
t mention if you are using this as bi-amped or not which we need to know. This unit has the soundguard protection of the tweeter which consists of an automotive type lamp and a polyfuse. I would open the unit and see if there is a problem with the connections or possiblly a socket problem with the lamp as that would disturb the tweeter level. If you are bi-ampong this, then verify that swapping the speakers the problem is the speaker and NOT the cable or amp... Also verify the switch on the back of the speaker is properly set.

I have a b415 dsp speaker that I pulled apart due to a rattle in the driver. I need to confirm the correct wire color to the speakers. I believe the red and black went to the driver and the blue and yellow...

Way to find out: The minus speaker leads go to ground at the amp and therefore are electricaally connected together... just use an ohmmeter to find which two wires are tied together and connect those to the minus leads of the speakers.

Hello. I wish to attempt to connect multiple monitors to a single output from my powered mixer. There are positive and negative 1/4'' jacks on the back of the monitors in question, can I hook the ''out''...

The positive and negative jacks are for selecting correct phasing.

If you did as you say, one speaker cone would move out and the other would go back. This is NOT what you want. Connect minuses and plusses when paralleling.

Do make sure you go no lower than the spec impedance of the speakers... If you have two 8 ohm speakers in parallel that is 4 ohms which is MINIMUM impedance allowed by a lot of powered mixers.
