Fuji Xerox Colour Laser Printer. Been a great machine however recently I receive an error message on the LCD display. 092-651 Code 2880000 Restart Printer Contact Support.

1) The error 2880000 on your Fuji Xerox Colour Laser printer denotes that there is an ADC Sensor Error.

2) Try fixing the Transfer Belt by yourself if you are pretty good with the printer stuff. If that doesn't give a solution for the issue, then the cause can yellow print cartridge leaking toner issue.

3) When this happens, the ink leaks on the transfer belt causing ADC sensor error. Try performing it by yourself with the transfer belt strategy, else, call a technician who can get it resolved in minutes.

This code indicates a failure in the ADC Sensor circuit. Fixing it does not seem to be for the faint of heart . If you are feeling brave check out this thread:

Xerox workcentre 6015 092-651 error

That error indicates a bad ADC sensor. Try cleaning the adc sensor which is on the rear of the transfer belt. If that doesn't work, replace transfer belt as sensor is not sold separately.

If your Xerox Phaser 6180, 6180mfp, 6280, or 6280mfp is displaying "Replace Transfer Unit" or "Ready transfer Unit Life" you most likely need to replace the transfer unit.
For the 6180 and 6180mfp the part number is 675K47088. For the 6280 and 6280mfp the part number is 675K70583.Here is a video that shows you how to replace this part. It is very easy and requires no tools.

My Xerox 6280 is getting an ADC Sensor Error 092-651 when I have printed several jobs of about 12 pages each. Is this a known problem?

Hi ....

There could be 2 solutions for this problem ...

1) Switch off the device ... wait for 10 seconds and then switch it back on ... most of the time it resolve the problem ..

2) If this does not resolve the problem, you need to remove and re-install the transfer unit which will resolve the problem for sure ...

Follow the below steps to remove and re-install the transfer unit.

CAUTION: Be careful not to touch the black Transfer Belt when replacing the unit. Handle the Transfer Unit by the release latches and the tabs on the left and right side of the unit.
  1. Power OFF the printer using the power switch located on the right side of the printer, toward the back. Press the power switch to the (O) position.

  2. Disconnect the power cord.

  3. Press the button on the top, right side of the printer to open the Front Cover.

  4. Grasp and squeeze the green release latches located on the left and right side of the Transfer Unit. Rotate the transfer unit up until the notch on the shaft is aligned with the mounting bracket cutout.

  7. Slide the unit to the left while rotating the unit to align the shaft-notch with the right mounting bracket cutout, and then press down until the shaft fully seats into the bracket.

  8. Gently rotate the unit down until the release latches snap into place. Do not push on or touch the black belt.

Xerox phaser 6250 NVRAM Failure

Cycle power, try cleaning the CTD (ADC) sensor and toner full sensor. This is what Xerox has to say about the NVRAM failure: On the front panel, press the key labeled i to view information about the error. Record the error code number. Turn off the printer. Reseat the fuser. Reseat the imaging unit. Reseat the toner cartridges. Turn on the printer. If the error continues to be displayed contact service. To be on the safe side you can follow the instructions here on the procedure to replace the transfer roler: http://office.support.xerox.com/SRVS/cgi-bin/webcgi.cgi Good luck
