I bought a 4 yr warranty on a television a year ago from best buy and the picture tube is going out. what should I do?
You'll need to pull out the warranty paperwork and see what it says about repairs. You'll likely need to present the proof of purchase for the warranty along with the machine, for Best Buy to start the process. To be certain you're doing it right, consult the warranty to see what to do. You can void your extended warranty if you take the machine to someone not certified to work on the machine.

I called during the time I e-mailed you. I did not have a copy of the warranty from 02-07 when I purchased the Magnavox 19 inch television, but after speaking with a sales associate who had no problem looking up my warranty and explaining to me that not only did I purchase it for 4yrs but it covered the picture tube and now after I travel to the nearest Best Buy, the television will either be repaired(I do not know how they will fix a picture tube)or they will give me a replacement.
