Can I use prodot black colour to my canon ink tank instead of esyink black colour

One can never recommend using non genuine printer ink as many are watered down and tend to splash around the printer . This can cause more problems in the long run. Pro dot is just a trade name. You can take the chance and you may be lucky. Its really a personal thing. I use Sainsbury's ink and have had no problems with it. It's up to you.

Picture on scree is black and white. How do i get colour

Your camera's Colour has been set to "Black and White". Select the camera icon on the power selector, and 'auto' on the mode selector. Press the menu button, and use left and right to find the "Finepix Color" setting. Use the up and down to select "Standard" instead of "Black and White".

Black letters are looking like they are printed twice but horizontally slipped by half a millimeter. "I" looks like "II". Color letters are OK. What can I do?

Run the Brother "print-head alignment" utility.

You're getting some colours (mixed to be "almost-black") that are not aligned with the "black". So, you get one black "I" and one almost-black "I", printed "side-by-side", instead of being superimposed.

Printer is not printing black but in a pinkish color

Most printers use the colour cartridge to make black, instead of the black cartridge. When you go to print a black and white document, on the box where you choose the number of pages to print, click properties, and locate the colour settings. There will be two options: Colour/Black and White-with a sub option of high quality or black only. Select Black only. The printer will now only use the black ink.

Colour Ink Jet Cartridges emptying during a black ink print run

Hi,
If you go to your printer properties, there should be a setting whereby you have to select the option to "PRINT USING BLACK CARTRIDGE ONLY". Make sure this option is selected, otherwise your printer will use ALL colors even if you only print black.
Let me know if you need any further assistance.
Best wishes,

Colour spots

turn your color all the way down and observe the black and white, contrast and grays . should be crisp. if sorted looks still like blurry grays with little contrast...... your problem lies in the video processing circuit.

Sony DSC-W70 How do I use black and white colour option??

I found out how to do this at last, you turn the dial to P instead of auto, then when in picture taking mode instead of playback you click menu, B&W is one of the options that comes up first! So simple but it took me ages to find!!

Colours all messed up and reds dull look brown

You should first turn off all the color on the set, or play a b&w Tape or dvd. What were looking for here is, what the color balance or grey scale looks like first. If a B&w video or whatever looks true to grey and black and white then you have whats called croma problem in the color or video demodulator. My friend I wish there was an easy way to assist you in this type of repair but theres not, as it could be a problem in the video/croma demod section of the video jungle IC and this is not a user serviceable part or repair as thers several issues concerning Hi voltage as well as x ray radiation. Now if its a problem where the grey scale or the B&W is not true to color then theres a problem in the R G B driver circuits. Could be a simple drive adjustment or even a soft or weak picture tube. I hope if your not a tech you seek a pro to assist you in this troubleshooting as this could be dangerous for you as there are no user serviceable parts inside this set. Good Luck
