I have an old Westinghouse Security Systems that keeps alarming every 15 minutes Model XL4600SM Key pad and its driving us crazy.. don't know how to shut it off can someone pls. help us (numeros days without having agood sleep ) the beeping is so annoying! Help help help help'

theirs no disabling /bypassing alarm systems have vehicle scanned for any codes --check condition/test key[s] and ignition cylinder-switch

problem is the low battery
have it load tested and charged up or replaced
remote or key still use the same bad battery

This car does not come with that equipment as factory option. You may wish to put the alarm in "valet" mode. There should be an override/valet button or switch mounted somewhere under the lower dash panel. With the key in the "run" position, push the valet button, and the little red "LED" light should light solid, verifying it's in valet mode, and will not arm, but keyless entry functions will still work.

Hot is ok in an alarm box, especially inside where you see your finned heatsink and capacitors, if it beeps it might be because you have a communication problem, a weak backup battery or else. Check if you have any codes being displayed on your LCD or LED and check in the signification in your user manual if any. If you are connected to an alarm central they should be able to tell you what is the problem by connecting remotelly to your system. If not, well I need more details.!

an easy fix is to get a dsl filter for your system and reconnect it back up to the telephone line.
