E-2..(Thermostat sensor)This error means that the unit has gone into a protection mode.

Check indoor coil sensor circuit closed. Check with ohms testing two ends, should read something. If it doesn't read any thing, replace the sensor.

I have a ge air conditioner model AHM24DPH1 WITH an error E2 / E1. What do I do to possibly fix.how do I reset maybe
E1 is humidity sensor error unplug unit and then plug it back in.
E2 is Temperature sensor error unplug unit and then plug it back in this will clear codes. if codes come back on then you will need to replace sensors.

I have an TCL aircon and it comes up with a message E2 and then switches it self off, the aircon is about 8 months old can someone help me with whats wrong with it please and thanks :)
TCL provide a 5 year warranty. i would suggest you contact the nearest Agent. An E2 error from what I remember is an overheat / overpressure problem. Check your filters on the indoor unit. If they are blocked, this error could appear and it wont be a warrantable fault...
