try with the factory remote press......menu, 7, 1, go-back, tv....... then press menu, 7, 1, go-back, who-input

you have to clean all the water corrosion off with rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush, then any blown or water damaged parts need to be replaced, you probably need a tv repairman.

There is a problem with your power ic..U need to replace it...

It's simply refered to as the power supply- the repair guys will know exactly what you are talking about when you use it. You see the power supply upgrades the power to drive the tube- much in the same way a coil increases the power on your car from 12 volts to what ever it needs to turn the engine. The green light just means that you turned it on, and all the other curicuts are working. Like if your car coil is bad-you can still turn on the lights and radio-but there is not enough power to turn over the engine/turn on the picture tube. I love my 36 incher- mine is 12 years old-and was only in the shop once-and still gives a better picture than the LCDs out there. Mike-It looks like the power supply is going on your tv-it can be replaced. This happens, usually, when little kids are playing wth the remote or power button on the tv. Turn it off and on a whole bunch of times in a row, kids love to do that, and it burns out the power supply part- to make a CRT tv like your RCA36 incher- which is a beautiful machine- I have the RCA/PROSCAN 36 incher-LAST longer...You should always wait 5 min between turning it off and on. Don't ever sell it. This one is worth fixing. It has better color and sound Than the new plasmas and lcds-The Pros know this. Be carefull, they might try and talk you out of it-so they can fix it and have it for themselves. So what if it's not High Deff. It's a great set.
