With the C-1 it does require phantom power to work. On the board your using make sure the +48(phantom power) button is pressed in and it should be golden.
If it's the C-1U, the drivers must be installed first. http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/C-1U.aspx
Good Luck, Cody J.

FT-8000 stuck on transmit after mic switched

It sounds like you are using the wrong mic for the radio or the mic has been wired incorrectly or the mic has become faulty or the radio has become faulty. Unplug the mic and see if the radio receives and works correctly. You should be using a Yaesu model MH-36b or a MH-42B microphone.

Pyle troubleshooting

You've obviously checked battery strength, battery connection and volume settings for the dead mic...does the green transmit (RF) LED light when you turn the mic on? Does the red audio (AF) LED light when you talk into the mic? Best solution....buy a better quality wireless system ($85 wireless?!? ...no thanks).

Red TX light comes on with out mic.

TR23 is a bigger transistor toward the fron left of the radio. Cant miss it. It is near the Mic Connector. That is a Voltage regulator.

Microphone is not detecting..in my laptop

Check connection - When you enter into a voice chat with friends, each participant should take turns trying to press and hold down the Press to Talk button. Everyone else should see their name turn red when they do that. If you see their names turn red, but don't hear anything, it may be a microphone / speaker problem, or it may be that we have more bugs that we need to fix. If you don't see their name turn red, you are probably having connection problems and that's why it's not working.
· Get the latest version - Please make sure that everyone who is using the voice chat feature has the latest version.
· Check mic and speakers - Check that your microphone works and that your speakers are turned on. Here's how:
* make sure the mic is plugged in correctly.
* adjust the mic properties.
- go to the control panel (start button -- settings -- control panel)
- click on the multimedia icon
- you should see a tab for audio
- make sure that the recording volume is set high.
* you can test your mic. by doing the following.
- Click the Windows Start button, then go to Programs, then Accessories, then Multimedia, then click on Sound Recorder
- A new window called Sound Recorder will pop up. Click on the record button (a red circle), then say

My laptop microphone isnt working

Good day, Hi, to test your laptop mic, open the sound recorder. 1. if you ar using XP, goto START, All Programs, Accessories, Entertaiment, Sound Recorder. If the sound recorder loads normally, press the red button, shout as load as you can, you will see sound waves on the recorder. 2. If the sound recorder does not loads, chances are your mic isn't working properly, Load the device Driver for your mic, you can find the driver on the CD that came with your laptop, if not you may need to go to the Internet to find the MIC driver. 3. If the driver is loaded on your laptop, chances are it may be defective, you have 2 options, 1. replace the mic on your laptop, which requires you to dismantel it, get the defective mic and replace it. 2. just get an external mic. hope this may help.

On/off button fell off Sennheiser wireless mic

This is quite common with G2's, and really annoying!
If you are lucky, 50% of the time the red button is pushed inside the mic.
You need to remove the bottom section:
- open the battery compartment
- there should be 3 star-bit screws around the outside (remove)
- pull the bottom of the mic off

If the red button is not inside, they are available as a spare part from Sennheiser dealers.

Be carefull when putting the mic back together, it needs to line up correctly with the internal guides, forcing the base back on could damage the ribbon cable. when the line-up is correct it slides on very easily.

Best of luck.
