If this doesn't work go in the device manager. is there a yellow exclamation mark or even a red sign beside the DVD/CD drive? if yes double click this entry. on the new window click on the "Driver" tab. click on "driver update", then follow the instructions on the screen If still facing the issue means Open the below site and download the driver.
Open Device Manager from Control Panel for any error messages related to the device.
Now double-click on the "System" icon then click on the "Hardware" tab
and click the "Device Manager" button. A new window appears, and
displays whether the device is working properly. If there are any
errors, click the "Troubleshoot" button and follow the given onscreen
