water marks on stainless profiles

I have used Bon Ami or Bar tenders Stainless steel cleaner (found in the section of Ajax or Comet Cleaner). Put some of the powder on soft cloth, wet it a little & scrub mark lightly; use clean rag w/water to clean off powder. Then use stainless steal spray cleaner (like the one found at Bath & Beyond) and rub in with soft cloth. I have found that the pull-out stainless steel cleaner wipes are too wet & just smear. Good luck

My stainless skillet sticks

All-Clad actually says (http://www.all-clad.com/collections/Stainless-Steel/CareAndUse/) that it's okay to put it through the dishwasher, though I've never put mine in there. So, you probably haven't ruined it. I'd recommend a good-cleaning with regular soap, followed by a "scouring" with Barkeeper's Friend. Barkeeper's Friend is available at any department store, including Wal-Mart, for about $2. It comes in a cannister like Comet and is gold in color. Do NOT use Comet, just Barkeeper's Friend which is oxalic acid. Wet the skillet first, then put some Barkeeper's Friend on a damp sponge - plain or with a blue non-scratch scrubber - and scrub in circles.
