Fagor f1-48w dishwasher washes but does not go into rinse cycle

The machine won't go into rinse if the rinse isn't hot enough. Check the thermal trip hasn't operated and that the thermostat bulb us fully inserted into the pocket in the front of the boiler.

Fagor dishwasher not completing cycle showing f6

The heater or thermostat is faulty and not allowing the dishwasher to complete cycle as water is not getting hot enough. Try to run a cold or short cycle and see if is completed.

see explanation of fault codes in this manual.

Fagor dishwasher showing f6

Please check fault codes on page 70 in this manual.

F6 would mean the water is not getting heated. I am not sure which model you have but if there is only a cold water inlet connection then either heater or thermostat is faulty. If you have both hot and cold water inlet then you may have to check if hot water is getting in at right temperature. Easiest way to confirm is to run dishwasher in cold cycle (short rinse) and see if it goes through. The heater would get used in warm/ hot wash cycles and drying.

How long should the dishwasher take to heat the water for wash and rinse to the required temperature after the dishwasher has been turned off for a week? Thanks, Mark

typically a general rule of thumb is 2degrees fahrenhiet per minute so if if its 72 dergees (22C) (normal room temp) it would take 36 or so minutes to reach 145 f (62c)

Dishwasher begins cycle then switches to rinse - no water seems to be entering the washer

Most possible that the inlet line is clogged at the filter or that the inlet valve is struck or faulty.
Please make sure with a voltage check if the inlet valve receives the voltage to it, if not the program controller is faulty.
Finally check the water line pressure at the inlet.

Glasses are coming out of the machine still covered in spots and not clean looking

Turn rinse-aid up to maximum for 2 washes, and refill your salt container. Reset the rinse-aid gradually back to your old setting during the next few cycles untill you get the right (economical)setting.

The correct way to start the wash cycle

we have just purchased a Fagor dishwasher also - the instruction manual is worthless.

in regards to the 2 thin tubes, we just inserted them in the gallon jugs that the soap/rinse agents comes in and it works fine. just make sure the clear tube without the label goes in the rinse agent and the labeled tube goes in the soap jug. we did drill a hole in the top cap of the jugs and pushed the line thru and that helped keeping the tubes in the jugs and minimized the mess if the jugs fell over.

in regards to the temperature problem, we found that running it thru a couple of cycles before you start the actual dishes helped get the water temperature up faster. it seems to like to start with normal tap hot water first, so the 1st couple of cycles get the cold water out of the line.
