Hi, I've got a hotpoint WF000G which wont rinse properly on a fast wash, still soap suds on the clothing and have to put it on a full rinse cycle to get rid of them. Have tried clearing the filter (which caused similar problem before) but filter was clear. Any ideas?

Use very little detergent (HE) on a fast wash, about half the amount you usually do and set the machine to heavy instead of nomal, if yours has the settings for water level. The heavy setting uses more water. If your model does not have the normal/heavy settings, wash only very small loads on the fast cycle so that there is more water for the cycle. Also, be sure you are rinsing in cold, since cold water dispurses suds. You should also be sure that your rubber seal is very clean. I use a cloth and plain hot water and clean the seal weekly. It can build up alot of detergent residue as well as mold, etc.

Spinning cycle

Keeping in mind that the soap & bleach gets dispensed into your wash on the second to last rinse cycle and that most all rinse cycles are in cold water. Is your cold water valve screen plugged causing your washer to rinse poorly? Are you using the HE detergent? If not maybe the washer is sudsing up to much and having a hard time rinsing all the suds and bleach out and leaving the clothes soapy.

Fill the washer up with no clothes in it on a cold/cold wash setting does it take a long time to fill the washer up? Also when it is full and agitating is there suds in the washer?

Last suggestion is if the drain is hose is a lot higher than the top of the washer it might have a hard time draining out all of the soap water before the next load

The words Sud comes up in the rinse cycle. What does this mean?

You are putting too much soap before you begin the wash cycle...... When the word SUDS is displayed then on the rinse cycle there is too much soap and the suds are still on the clothes. Try cutting back on the soap, maybe cut back almost 1/2.

Extra suds due to liquid soap in the machine overflowing. How do I drain it?

This is strange. Are you using an electric dishwasher liquid soap, OR are you using a dish soap that you manually use to wash dishes?
REGULAR dish soap liquid that is not specifically made for dishwashers creates a foamy suds with lots of bubbles that will in fact bubble out of your dishwasher. on the other hand. Electric Dishwasher detergent will NOT create foamy suds with lots of bubbles.
Switch your soap. The next cycle any residue suds or soap will be gone as long as you use the proper liquid detergent. I would also recommend using a rinse agent which further helps break down and rinse off residue.

Washer goes through 40 min. cycleand stays on 1 min. spinning and rinsing for another 30 min

your using way to much soap
during that whole 1 minute cycle it is detecting suds and trying to rinse the cloths further
cut way down on the soap here
you should be using 1 tablspoon per load
wash one load without anyy soap at all
this should help to reduce your suds lock

There are excessive suds in the washer even after the rinse cycle

IT COULD BE LEFT OVER SOAP STILL IN THE CLOTHES COMING OUT BUT MORE THAN LIKELY, THERE IS A SOAP DEPOSIT IN THE MACHINE. TRY A COMMERCIAL CLEANER LIKE WASHER MAGIC TO REMOVE IT. IT MAY TAKE A COUPLE DOSES TO CLEAR IT OUT.

Soap left in clothes

hope you are using he detergents (high effeciency low suds) also if you have soft water oversudsing can occur even with he ..try reducing amount ..also have been told tide he detergent tends to suds more so may try switching detergent brands try runing washer with no soap no clothes begore next load to flush out any detergent that may remain ..be sure to run washer with bleach no clothes on short cycle peroidically to avoid mold/mildew odors that front loads tend to acquire after a few months use and leave door open if possible between uses..let me know about detergent thanks

Continuous rinsing

Put 2 tablespoons of oil into the water at the bottom of the dishwasher it will help break up the suds. Sprinkle as well ordinary table salt liberally across the suds to disperse them. Try to drain the unit as much as possible, soaking up any residual water or suds with a dry towel. Let the machine fill again, and repeat the process if necessary. Good luck !
