HI:
Try taking out the battery and leaving the unit unpluged and free of power for at least ten minutes. Then try restarting the unit normally, if the screen is still white then this means it is not receiving data from the graphics processor, if so then this is a indication of a faulty video processor or graphics chip, you may of gathered static electricty while walking across carpet that may of shorted the chip. In which case the only thing that can be done is to either replace the mother board in the unit or send it to toshiba for repair and replacement of the main board, you may want to contact Toshiba first before going futher as they may have a solution for you.
