You must perform a factory reset using the reset button on the rear the device. You will then have to login using the factory default user id and password, create your new password, then reconfigure your router to your system as all settings were reset to factory defaults.

SOURCE: forgot password to login

the only way to bypass it is to reset all your settings:
1. find the reset button (it's a small hole the size of a sharp pencil)
2. press on the rest button for at least 10 sec.
3. login with the factory default login.

Asus RT-G32 Wireless Router Firmware 3.0.2.1

Have you tried resetting the router to factory settings? Beware that will erase all data on device.

Have you checked if the correct DNS is set in the router? Contact your ISP for the proper DNS or you could try the Google DNS which is 8.8.8.8, more info here:

I have Asus RT-G32 and it works max 10 mbits. How can I change it's speed to 54G

its your ISP that limits you. you probably have a 54G connection between you and your router and a 10mbits connection to the internet. so, when you run a speedt test you show 10mbits...

your service is working fine...

and FYI: when you do a download and it says your downloading at 56k or something that has nothing to do with you or your ISP, thats how fast the person hosting the file can send it to you.

yup, the internet is one bottle neck after another!

How to set up a password on ASUS RT-G32 wireless router so others cannot access my internet services.

Open a browser. Type in the router IP 192.168.1.1. Login to the router using your user id and password. If you have never set up a user id or password, then use the factory default ones to access. Once into the router settings, change the admin password to avoid anyone later accessing the router and changing your settings. Once you save the admin password change, you will be kicked out and must login again with the new password. Once in, go to wireless settings. Here you will able to set a wireless password (security key) for your wireless LAN. Once you save and exit, you will need to go to all your wireless devices and modify them with the security key in order for them to access the network. Once the key is in the router, your network is secure from outsiders getting in without knowing the key.
