SOURCE: no picture
Maybee....but guessing you havnt tryed to mod it in any way and not having opened the box or played with it in the bath ..yes but id check the connections for green oxidization but in most cases it would be the plug end (yellow) thats if you can hear sound if there is no sound as well as picture I would be checking the plug ends for a resolder job.If they look all intact id be suspect to looking deeper into the box for a fan failure, hard drive faliure, power supply or verry dusty Id clean and inspect the inside by blowing out the dust with compressed air being carefull not to lift any tracks but this would be a resort only after id have borrowed and tested another av leed, you can pick up an av leed from cash converters for about $2 or drop it into your local mod shop for a free quote and test

Red ring is not the only problem with Microsoft Xbox 360. This amazing
device also has some more common problems like Audio but no video
problem, disc read error etc. Microsoft is providing extended warranty
only for red ring problem. Means you will have to spend some money to
get this problem repaired also if you plan to send your xbox to
Microsoft, you will have to wait for 3-4 weeks to get back your

It's possible that your Xbox is sending out a picture that's higher resolution than your TV can display. Try reducing the resolution of the Xbox video output.
