Where is WEP code found

I dont have no internet in my house (sic) without internet.. how can you connect???... anyway a WEP key is only available from when the router was first setup a "Code" is generated and unless know cannot be used. If that happens all one can do, log into the router with a browser, and then you reset the router, & set it all up again, when at security, make sure that the generated "Key" is stored safely, I usually copy/paste to a notepad document, for later use. Thats the only way.

HAve you entered the wep or security code for your router into the x box live.

Wep is the wireless security code found on your routers homepage.

Could be both.you will need your routers ip address.usually 192.168.1.1

And the wireless activated, on the router.Also enter the wep code or wireless security code from your router onto the x box.

Your WEP key is on your router. When you setup wireless security in your router, you enter a key phrase aka WEP key. You just need to put that same phrase in the XBOX setup.

you could actually just call your router manufacturer so they can provide your'e wep key

both xbox and live box hve same recieving connections,both waiting to recieve instructions.purchased cross over cable to plug in xbox and live box. lo and behold connected. works perfect.
