You can download free games to your PSP by going to websites that offer free downloads. But of course be wise in downloading, you must protect your PSP from viruses. Consider updating your anti virus first. The link I have below will lead you to a secured website, free from any virus, that offers free PSP games. Its because you dont have custom firmware to download custom firmware go to youtube.com and in the search bar type in how to put custom firmware on psp and the custom firmware is for downloading free psp games.

Psp will not load games
When you put the game in, there is a latch at the bottom the psp that when you put the game in, it tells the psp to load the game. When you put the game in, look and see if you see a silver latch that the game should push. If you see it, make sure the game is pushing down when inserted. If it is not there, or it still does not work, you will need to get it serviced at a game store or at a shop.
