Hmm i had the same problem the saturday before on my lt-42x579but i didnt have anything hooked up to it blue light came on then flashed ..no pic this happend one week after it was pd off from a rental store we should investigate

    I am havin the same problem. we got ours from a rental place. but it was working up until we hooked up the xbox then unplugged it. now the tv wont come on and all the blue light does is flash and it want go off

Unplug the JVC from the power outlet for 10 seconds. Plug the JVC TV back into the power outlet. Hold down both the "Menu" and "Volume Down (-)" buttons for another 10 seconds. Just before releasing these buttons, press and hold the "Power" button.

Lt 50a330 jvc
I was watching my tv model LT-50a330 JVC and it made two popping noises and the screen went balck but the green power light stayed on. I unplugged it and could smell something bad like a short. I havnt tried to turn it back on, does this mean I need a new tv, it's not even two yrs old.

Hello my TVC LT-47X579 wont come on the blue power light just flashes after a few seconds
Unplug,replug the tv about hour,the tv should reset itself back to factory setting.The tv should work now,not than the power supply board is dead.That the board,where the power a/c power cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

You most definately have bad capacitors in the power supply. try and get it repaired as soon as possible, not an expensive repair that iv'e seen.
