Where can i download a manual for 1. Furuno SSB Radio – FS-2570 – Type-FS-2571C and 2. NBDP Terminal – type – IB-583. Our problem is a new vessel hax been launched and it seems that inspite of all efforts to send dsc alert test / with the supplied manual onboard we can not send such alerts.. Any step by step procedure?? using both gmdss model/type.. thanks

Yes and it is in the book a new installation needs calibration!! The rough tuning is off by the sounds of it

I guess it is similar to the FS-1530 pins as follows: 1 - Ground; 2 - PTT; 3 - Mic (H); 4 - Mic (C); 5 - Phone; 6 - NC. Hope this helps!!!

Bands covered by Furuno FS-1502
It doesn't appear to cover the ham bands, only maritime. This radio is also not type approved for operation on ham bands either.

You might try going online to Ham radio outlet, they carry just about everything for ham radio. your telex kit may not be made any longer but you might be able to use a Terminal Node Controller in its place. Kantronics makes one of the best TNC's around.
