Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

High-Temp Alarm Switch (on some models)
An alarm will sound if the freezer temperature reaches unsafe levels. The alarm operates on household electricity. If the power fails, the alarm will not perform.
An ON/OFF switch allows the temperature alarm to be deactivated if desired. The freezer is shipped with the switch in the OFF position. After the freezer has run long enough to lower the temperature, you may set the switch to the ON position.
CAUTION: Adding more than 3 pounds (1.5 kg) of warm food per cubic foot of freezer capacity can trigger the alarm.
To activate the alarm, set the switch to the ON position.
To deactivate the alarm, set the switch to the OFF position.

There is a switch on the bottom under the door by the floor vent thing, and a light on both sides of it, what does this switch do?

That switch allows a temprature alarm to work or not to work depending on which way it is switched. That way you have time to move your contents when the temprature gets above freezing in the freezer. Please make coment and rate me and my knowledge if this answers your question. Thanks

Km900mah short freeze cyles and small cresent cubes, also need the correct dip switch settings as they are not listed for this model thanks

In most cases, when you have the problems you are having, it is because the float switch is not set properly. On most machines, it's located in the front of the machine, just behind the front cover, next to the water pump. It is usually white with a black boot on the bottom. There should be 2 screws holding it. You can loosen the screws and slide the float switch all the way down to the bottom of the slots and then tighten them back. This will lengthen the freeze cycle and the cubes will become larger.
Your Model number is not in any of my manuals and the Hoshi tech site has no such model listed. Please check you model number. Can not get you dip switch settings if we don't know the machine you have. Plus Hoshi has changed their board several times. We would have to determine if yours has been changed, and if so, to which one.
Hope this helps you.

Sheet of ice forms in bottom of freezer

Frost free fidges are supposed to stay frost free because the automatically defrost regularly. When they do this they may drain water down to the bottom of your fridge. Look for a tray that catches this water underneath the unit. Make sure yo keep it emptied. If you live in a very warm climate you may be getting a lot of humidity inside. There may be a switch that you can change for lower moisture.

F22cw freezer

The only possible switch that would be located on the back on the bottom may be a defrost timer. Other than that would be the starting components of the compressor which would be a relay and possibly capacitor.
