If the DTR is set to S Video out then it will give a monochrome piscture as the colour content is not being picked up due to the TV Receiver.
Re set the DTR to Composite Video Output.

My Bush BTU160DTR has suddenly lost its EPG and shows no programme listings beyond Wednesday. Seems to link to end of TOP UP TV. How can I get it back please. We have 2 of these in the house.

Same with me but fixed. Change EPG to 8 day format. Instructions are here: http://www.avforums.com/threads/bush-btu160dtr-epg-problem.1269232/

My Transonic LCD tv was connected to the aerial via my video recorder which is now out of order. I connected the aerial directly to the TV but now only get black & white! The DVD channel etc are...

Ok, if all you did was remove the vcr out of the circuit and put the aerial directly to the tv and now the color will not come in. That means your signal is not strong enough to provide a good picture. Some new model tvs have weaker tuners compared to older model tv and vcr tuners causing them to have weak snowy or black and white picture. The idea being most newer tvs are designed for cable or satellite hd use not for aerial use. What you wear doing before was amplifying the signal by running it thru the vrc first then viewing the output on the tv. Get another vcr or amplify the signal with an signal amplifier.

DVD player only plays DVD in black and white - what's wrong?

Ok,
I'm not sure what you mean by digibox. Under what conditions are you able to see things in color? Is a digibox a seperate device you can get to work with the same connection as your player? If one device displays color on the same connection and another doesn't then that seems to rule out the television being the problem. Can you clarify a little more?

Pink colour

Hi there!
May be that the colour Amp is at fault or the tube is busy failing. Commonly it would be the colour Amp (Dry joints or faulty drivers). The Green is dead. I have had cases where power surge can magnetise the tube to such an extend that the whole picture will show one colour. In your case I doubt it very much. Good Luck,JUS004

Lg 32lc2r, only showing picture in black and white

Make sure that the color control level is set to the default or 50% to start with. This should be in the Video menu.

The colour for the tuner and for the encoded base-band video uses a circuit area called the colour demodulator. It is possible that this cirucuit area has failed and needs servicing.

PANASONIC TV, TH-42PX60

If it's just one video plug, then perhaps you have to set av5 as being in colour somwhere in the menus.  If you require three wires for the pictures, as blue, green, and red, then make sure they aren't in the wrong ports.
Good luck.
