Hi, yes there is one and you may just be able to see the diagonal line in this picture. It is the division between the two parts of the automatic lens cover, which should close to protect the lens when the camera is turned off.

If you cannot see a cover then it may be stuck open, perhaps by dust, but the camera should otherwise still be able to work normally. You probably cannot get to the cover to manipulate it with a pin and perhaps blow on it with a lens puffer, but anyway this might cause some damage.

In use the cover might come free again and I hope these comments are helpful.

Lens cover wont open

Common problem with automatic lens covers. I use a toothpick to manually open the lens with the camera on. The use some glue, small amount on the lens cover to glue it open. Then I would carry it in a carry bag.

Lens cover sticking

Stuck automatic lens cover is usually a very easy fix. A lot of times it's just a bit of gunk or dirt jamming it. Pay attention to the paper or vacuum fix. Do not recommend opening it as it is somewhat complex (tiny springs and shutters).

Shutters on the lens won't fully open

Stuck automatic lens covers are fairly. But usually it's very easy to fix, without even opening the camera. See this link for troubleshooting steps for this problem.
