I have forgotten my password for my samsung n150plus notebook and i can not get on my notebook i am the only user on my notbook and i did not yet set up a reset disk please help

Please boot your computer with the Vista DVD and choose repair before pressing the install button.
This will take you to the windows Recovery Environment. Choose command prompt.

In the command prompt please use the following procedure to get the password disabled Type the following command and hit enter after every line

c:
cd windows
cd system32
copy magnify.exe magnify.old
copy command.exe magnify.exe
exit

Restart your computer (without the DVD) and when you are at the login screen click on the ease of access button and then click on magnify button, instead of openning the magnifier application.
in this command prompt please type the following command and hit enter at the end of the line.

net user *

Note: Replace with your actual username also remove the symbols also.
type exit and then click on the username in your login screen, you should be able to access your computer.

Forgot your Windows password? You can create a Windows password reset disk to reset your lost or forgotten Windows password, i have created one with the tool Windows Password Breaker and reset my administrator password successfully.

You can try login with the "administrator" username and blank password. then after login, you can delete or reset the user's account's(start>>control panel>>user account) password and you are set to go.

Try to reboot the PC by pressing F8 to safe mode and then reset the forgotten password,

You will have to setup a separate user account for your son to use. Do not make him an administrator. If he is signing on under your name he will always be able to change the password. (Change your password to one he doesn't know) then...

Go to:
Start menu - control panel - user accounts - manage another account-
create new account:

Make his account "standard"

Also Win 7 has an easy way to make a password reset disk (in case he sneaks pass your blocks). Look on the left side of the screen when in User accounts for this feature and follow instructions.

try pressing ESC 2 or 3 times to bypass this option. Then go to your user account settings and change or delete your password. If all else fails, format HD or burn a bootable windows password recovery program and boot up pc with the disc.

in bios setup
you can remove user or administartor password.
under security on page.
if you cannot remember password then choose to set to default settings will tell you how at side or bottom of bios page then press f10 to save and exit.

Method 1.

1. Log in with any valid account.
2. Bring up the command prompt.
3. Type: net user
4. You get a list of accounts
5. Type: net user Administrator *
   • Type: net user (any account on that list) *
6. It prompts for a password. Enter one, then enter it again when prompted to confirm.
7. Log on as 'Administrator' with your new password.
8. Edit: Please note that this might not work on a LIMITED account.

Method 2.

1. Restart the machine and start pressing F8 immediately.
2. Boot into 'Safe Mode' (it has a default administrator account).
3. Make yourself a new 'Administrator' level account
4. Reboot and log in with that.
5. Proceed with Method 1.

Method 3.

1. Boot the machine with a recent version of Linux that runs off CD.
2. Mount the Windows drive (or volume with 'Documents and Settings' in it
3. Access whatever files and folders you need to.

Method 4.

1. Use a Windows 2000 recovery CD to boot the machine
2. Start the 'Windows Recovery Console'
3. Access anything you like
4. Add a user with 'Administrator' privileges
5. Even change the Administrator password

Method 5.

1. Boot off your XP disk.
2. Start an installation and 'Repair' your windows installation.
3. When the progress bar says 'Installing Devices', press Shift-F10 to get a command window
4. Type NUSRMGR.CPL to get the User Accounts control panel and change what you like.

Method 6.

1. Pull the hard drive from the machine
2. Install it in a drive enclosure
   • OR plug it into another machine's IDE/SATA/SCSI/(whatever it is) port and give it power
3. Boot up with that second machine's normal boot drive as 'Administrator' and access or change permissions on any files on the drive you like.
4. Put the drive back in its original case.

Method 7.

1. Search Google for OPHCRACK (OPHCRACK live cd for bootable disk)
2. Download it
3. Install it (or if it's live cd use an iso program to burn it like WinIso or NERO)
4. Run the program and choose import from local sam (check youtube for more instructions.)
5. Then choose crack and wait for the password to be recovered.
