This remote came with the MARS-22+. It is a universal type of keyless entry with remote start unit. It did not come with any particular vehicle, since it can be installed in almost any vehicle.

Your truck most likely has a chip in the key. You will need to contact the maker of the remote start kit you have and see if they make a kit to bypass the chip key.

It sounds to me like your system is currenty programmed with the Anti-Carjacking feature turned ON. If by chance it's an Omega/Mars system see page 11 feature #7 See page 12, how to program these features. See page 15 for more info on the Carjacking feature. You will turn one or the other until the LED LIGHT blinks consistently.
There will be a few step you will need to do. First we will need the model number of the Omega car starter Also the year of the truck. I would need to see if there is a bypass module and if so what kind of module. The module might need to be reprogrammed.
Most remote starters do not lose their "memory" when power is lost. However, if an older version bypass module was used for your vehicle it may need to be reset but you must know the model. If you are not able to look under the dash panels yourself, you should take it to your nearest dealer/installer. Some also reset or relearn after the first key start. The FCC number off of one remote may help narrow down model of the remote start also. Vehicle info will also be helpful.
