You say you cannot get the door to open right? That is the part that locks the door. I suspect that one has a wax motor. It takes a bit for it to release. You might have an item of clothing between the door and innards. Have you tried to press against the locking portion of the door to give it a little help in releasing the latch? Just a suggestion.

We have a Whirlpool 7KG frontloader washing machine (6th sense) model AWM8121. The problem is that the door light is flashing, the cycle has stopped at rinse (rinse light is on) and the machine is not...

We have an awm8121 and there seems to be a fault on the Spin cycle indicators with th 0 RPM and the 800 RPM flashing..

We can't seem to get the frontloader to finish the drain cycle and continue into the next was.

The last load of washing was still saturated when we managed to open the door.

Does not go through cycle. Door open light flashing even though closed. Have tried disconnecting and powering back on, but still won't work.

Your door latch wax motor needs replacing.

cut and paste this factory service manual.
