Run away speed Small Data Cable symptoms 1. No power to the upper board 2. Loss of power to the upper board, intermittent shutdown To troubleshoot a bad large data cable for most models - Enter engineering mode (see engineering mode for specific treadmill). If the elevation window in calibrations reads 000 in Px there no signal from the lower board to the upper console.

Stuck key error on my treadmill

Sometime talcum powder under the thread will get it working again, but you may eventually need a new tread. Less likely, a problem with the motor especially if it's underpowered.

E6 error message

It appears that your elevation system is where the fault lies. This could be as simple as recalibrating the lift mechanism, or possibly correcting faulty wiring from the lower controller to the lift motor. Be sure to check the condition of the lift motor as well as the wires entering the lift motor. Sometimes the wires will pull away from the plastic connector causing a lift motor error

    Dear Sir:

Adjust the reed swtich see the diagram attached, clean, and tight the connector very well.

tight the ribbon cable from keypad, and connector for display board vs lower board.
If the problem persist you must run the software calibration for diagnose and troubleshooting.

    sincerely. God bless you

Hi i have a vision fitness 9450 hrt and i'm getting an error message: E6

Typically an E6 error message indicates that the machine needs to be recalibrated because the elevation motor is out of range or that you have a loose cable connection. Below are the auto calibration instructions. Please make sure that no one is on the machine because it will speed up quickly.

    STEP 1 ENTER ENGINEERING MODE

With the safety key in place, hold "ELEVATION UP" and "SPEED

DOWN" buttons for 5 seconds. Software version will appear in display

window for a few seconds before model displays.

Press "STOP" , "ENG1" will appear in display window.

    STEP 2 AUTO-CALIBRATE

Press "ELEVATION UP" until "ENG4" is displayed.

Press "SELECT" , display will read "AUTO".

Press "START". Unit will calibrate, when finished "END" appears in

    display window, then "ENG1".

    STEP 3 EXIT ENGINEERING
Press and hold "STOP" to exit engineering mode

I would also suggest that, with the power to the machine off, you check all of the wire connections underneath the motor cover, the assembly connection that sits where the mast meets the console and underneath the faceplate. Check to be sure that all of the connections are secure and that the pins within the cables are seated properly.

I have a Sears Pro Form 730si. The treadmill

I believe E4 on ths 730si means that the speed of the motor the sensor is detecting is greater than the set speed. E2 would be the opposite. I believe there is a way to calibrate the speed. Look at the smaller motor controller board.
