If you have forgotten your LinkSys router password, the easiest thing to do is to reset your router to the factory default settings.

To restore the router configuration to factory defaults, hold the reset button on the unit for 30 seconds.

2.Enter the username and password (default password is admin and leave the username blank)
3.Click Wireless and then click Wireless Security.
4.If the Security mode is set to WPA or WEp (other than disabled), you can see the password thre and can note it down.

The Linksys PAP2 Device is a user friendly device.
The solutions is u must reset the router to the factory settings i.e., to default setting
u will be having a reset button at the back side of the router ,hold it for 5 to 10 sec and release the router will be getting on automatically then u can configure again from initial.

DOH! Sorry to hear that! Unless you can remember it, you'll need to reset your router to the factory defaults, which will unlock your password. Your router should have a tiny button on it you'd typically use a ball point pen to depress, which resets it to factory defaults.

Some routers, like linksys, don't have an actual user name so be sure you're leaving that blank. If it is a linksys, the default username is blank, and the password is admin. You'll want to change that quickly and I recommend writing your password in sharpie under your router if you're the forgetful type.
