turn off the machine. open upper front cover. remove the old fuser and insert the new one. turn on the machine and enjoy your printer with new fuser kit.
Is the light printing the same for black and white vs color? Light printing on a side is not uncommon for these printers. It is usually caused by the laser optics getting dirty. But this usually shows up more in one color than the other. Such as something printed in yellow is fine while red is faded on one side. If the light on the right side printing is the same on all colors including black then I would suspect something with your transfer unit.
If you do notice that it us just on black or another color then it is definately time to get the laser optics cleaned.
The problem is usually caused by printing a PDF file with fonts/page size/ page formating errors which will cause the printer to display the 49.3048 error. The only way to use the printer is to POR or recycle the power and delete the print job from the server or spooling device and cancel it on the printer before the offending command is issued to the printer again. You can try updating the firmware to the latest version 46.140.5 from the HP website. MIke L.
It should not, when you say pink you mean Magenta right?
sounds like it needs some cleaning, pull out everything you can pull out from the printer, and carefully clean any tone you see inside with a dry cloth, also clean the cartridges themselves.
print a few pages for any remaining toner to get phased/cleaned out on the print outs and see what happens
