Help...I have a 3 year old Frigidaire dryer that has just staretd making a squealing noise when it is drying clothes. The clothes dry, nothing burns, but the squaling noise coming from it is unbearable. Can it be oiled or something? It is a front loader, stacked on top of the washer. Any help you can provide would be terrific.
Sounds like rear bearing is dry you will need to remove drum to get to it pop clips in top and raise 2 phillips scews 1 in each side remove front remove belt from drum lift drum up in rear and remove ck to make sure plastic bearing is not worn down to metal bracket if it is it will need to be replaced
