My Calypso washer smells bad and so do the clothes after washing. Is there a way to clean the washer inside so that whatever is in there does not make the clothes smell bad?

I would take the bleach hose off and verify it is not obstructed, if that doesn't look bad then the system that calls for bleach my be faulty, but I would check for obstructions first in the hose first.

Hope your filter is clean. Don’t wait for the
machine to jam to
look into your filter.
You can use Affresh to clean your front loader. Deposits of soap and
other such
things can be stuck around the inside tub of your washer. Try this
product, it
works great on all front loaders. Use very hot water with the Affresh
pellet
with no clothes and run the machine through a cycle. Also helps with any
stagnant water smells. Put the Affresh
pellet inside the machine, not in the soap dispenser.
You can give me a ‘very helpful’ rating for the
free help,
can't you. Thanks.
Whirlpool and Tide make a cleaner that you put into the washer and run it through a cycle. Front loaders get a build-up that cannot be cleaned by hand. Make sure you are using a detergent that is marked "HE". Do not overfill the detergent or softener cups. I've heard that other used a lot of bleach in a wash cycle to clear out the smell. Bleach is bad to use if you're on a septic system, though.
Make shure to do a cleaning cycle. As well, wipe out the inside, the rubber gasket and the door when done washing for the day. We also have found that
leaving the door "Open" for several hours, when finnished, eliminates any future
smells.
