Not sure if you have tried the HP knowledgebase, but there are a few steps they recommended trying.

10.00.00 SUPPLIES MEMORY ERROR alternates with For help press ? Description An error has occurred in one or more of the printer supplies. Values of xx and yy are listed below: xx

• 00 = memory is defective

• 00 = black print cartridge

1. Turn the printer power off, and then turn the printer power on again to clear the message.
2. If the message persists, click here to access the HP support Web site at http://www.hp.com/support/lj2300 .
3. If the printer has a 500-sheet Tray 3 installed, turn the printer off again and replace the print cartridge with a new HP print cartridge.
4. Turn the printer on again.
5. If the error does not clear, turn the printer off and remove Tray 3.
6. Turn the printer on and verify if the error clears.
7. If the error does not clear, contact HP support.

• 10 = memory is missing

• 00 = black print cartridge
