The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.
Yes. There's a "Copy" option in the playback menu. It can copy all pictures from internal memory to a card, or individual pictures from a card to internal memory.
This should help
Press [ menu set] to display the [PLAY] mode
menu and select the item to set.
You can copy recorded picture data from
the built-in memory to a card or vice versa.
1 Press up/down to select the copy
destination: (in to card) and then press
[MENU/SET].
Not directly. You can download the pictures to a computer, then upload them to your iPod. If you connect the iPod and the camera or its memory card, you can transfer the pictures from one to the other without storing them on the computer.
You can accomplish the transfer by going into the menu and find "copy". Follow the instructions for copying from the internal memory to the memory card.
Try transferring the pictures to your computer then erasing the copies on the sd card, then putting the pics back on the sd card from the computer and then of course back to the camera.
I have a DMC-LZ7 that I purchased a year and a half ago. You can transfer pics from the built-in memory from the "copy" menu function when the camera is in play mode (10th option down in the menu). If you move the cursor down to this selection then hit the right arrow button, there should be options to both transfer from built-in memory to the SD card and vice versa.
