These units have had alot of problems especially if it is on a pedistal ...they won't admit this is a problem but i have been a lg servicer for over 4 years now and see it everyday ...the unit has a stator on the rear of the tub and on the stator is a device called a hall sensor that goes bad very often... it is what controls the spped and balance of the tub..if the load starts getting unbalanced the hall sensor will tell the motor controller to slow the speed down... most likely this is your problem.... good luck please vote
