How do i assemble a pinoeer stereo system model VSX-504s and model CLD M403

Use RCA audio cables to connect the CD player to the receiver. The CD player should have two RCA jacks labeled "audio out"; On the top row one jack is red and the other white. On the Pioneer receiver in the back, there's several rows of RCA jacks. On the bottom , just to the right of "tape monitor"it is labeled "CD". Plug the red RCA cable into the red jack on the bottom and the white plug into the white jack on top of the red jack. On the front panel of the pioneer receiver is a small button labeled "CD". Press that button to listen to the CD's.
images?q=tbn:and9gcrfpubn4rfeo_gjllmgnn8g_iqmawgbbh3jscq6cfxrh7y-3f7qegThe red cable is fro the right channel ( right speakers), and the white is for the left.

How do I connect my CD Player, Tape Deck and Tuner to the SU 300 Technics Amplifier

hi,
For connecting these to your amplifier you need 4 Stereo RCA Cable.
1.Connection for cd:
Take one of the RCA cable connect the one end (red/white) jack to the line out of your cd and connect the other end (red/white) to the CD input of Your amplifier.
2. Connecting the tunner:
Take one of the RCA cable and connect the one end (red/white) jack to the line output of you Tuner and connect the other end (red/white) to the TUNER input of your amplifier.
3. Connectiong the tape deck:
Now you have two RCA cable. Take one of the RCA cable and connect the one end (red/white) jacks to the PLAY out of the Tape deck and connect the other end (red/white) to the TAPE 1 play input of your amplifier.
Now connect the last RCA cable. Connect the one end (red/white) jack to the record input of the TAPE deck And connect the other end (red/white) to the TAPE 1 Record input of your amplifier.(this connection will help you to record to tape from cd or tuner. if you are not interested in recording then you can avoid this connection.)

Now you can select these three items from the frond plannel control switch of the amplifier.

Do not know how to connect my kappa 60.5cs to my pioneer cd player do they have to go through an external amp?what do i do with the power plugs on the oppisite side why are there 2 per speaker

You need to run RCA cables from the CD player to the CD or AUX input on your amp / receiver unit. If you have a standalone amp, you need some way to control the volume. Basically, if you have a volume control on the front of your amp, you're OK. If not, you should also have a preamplifier that the CD player feeds first.

From the amplifier, then, a single pair of speaker outputs feeds a single pair of inputs on your speakers. The reason for two jack sets on the speakers is for "bi-wiring" or "bi-amping", not necessary for basic stereo reproduction.

So -

CD red/white RCA out -> preamp/receiver red/white CD/AUX input. Amp speaker output (red + / black -) to one red/black input pair on the speakers. An input on the speaker is side by side...

Keep the red to red, black to black when connecting the speakers, or you will wind up with poor sound and weak bass.

I want to switch the power on my car cd player away from the starter, so that i have to turn it on and off myself, rather than when i turn the key. how??

Surely you mean that your cd player is connected to the accessory power and not the starter. If you want your cd player to receive constant power then locate the accessory power wire of the cd player(the one that receives power when the key is on) and connect it to a FUSED constant power source(battery). Usually, if it's a three wire hookup it will be yellow, red and black. Yellow (constant power), red (switched power) and black is ground. If this is the hook up then the red needs constant power. If it's a two wire hook up, red (switched) and black(ground), then the red needs constant power.

Movie has no red color only green and yellow

Remove & re-seat the component video cables at both the TV and the DVD player.

If the problem continues, disconnect BOTH ends of the BLUE cable and the RED cable. Connect the BLUE cable to the RED jack at both the DVD and TV, and connect the RED cable to the BLUE jack ob both the TV and DVD. If the RED color comes back and the BLUE is missing, then replace the RED cable (the red cable is broken and will not pass the signal that it is connected to).

If all works, reconnect the colored cables to the corresponding colored jacks at both the TV and DVD player.

If the RED color still won't display, isolate the trouble to either the DVD player or TV by connecting the DVD to another TV w/ component jacks. If the RED is still missing, it is a problem inside the DVD player - if the RED displays, it is a problem with the TV.

Good luck!

What does red versus black equal?

from cd player to amp:

connect red from cd to red on the receiver's CD input( and white to white) using RCA cables:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RCA_connector
Red is usually right channel and white left channel.

From amp to speaker, use speaker cable and and make sure that you connect red to red and black to black. Notice the stripe on the speaker wire to help you do this. you could think red as 'positive' and black as 'negative', though they are not in the theoretical sense, as they carry ac signals.
