I have one receiver in my living room. The living room tv is on the #1 channel and the kitchen, guest bedroom and master bedroom tv's are on channel #2. All remotes were working just fine and suddenly all #2 channel remotes starting working very intermittently. What would cause this and is there anything I can do to get them working again?

Unfortunately the Simon 3 has a limited vocabulary. The alarm company probably did the best they could. It will tell you the zone number 1-24 but you may already have the best audio descritption you are going to get.

Comcast remote does not work after dark, works just find in day

I have had the same problem I have two bell receivers one in the bedroom and one in the living room, in low light the remote in the living room would work much like yours, but if I took the same remote into the bedroom it worked fine in low light, the second remote responded exactly the same, the problem in my situation was the TV had a light sensor that adjusts the picture depending on the light in the room, with this option turned off. The remote works just fine in low light situation.

If you have a dual tuner it is in sigle mode. Go to the front panel on the receiver and press the mode button. This may be behind a push open door based on the receiver you have. If this does not work let me know. Thanks for using Fix Ya.

Lost remote

On the front of the receiver press and hold the mode button, when you have it in single mode choose system setup and then shared view.use the arrow keys to highlight "enable" on the shared view and then "done" to save changes, you can then use the one remote to watch the same thing on both TV's, until you either find or replace the problem remote.

RF module related to Direct TV.

yes you can but the 2nd tv wont be in HD. The modulator can be purchased for any electronics store. what it does is turns a composite video signal (yellow, red, white cables) into a coax (screw in cable). it has an composite input that you would connect from the receiver and a coax output that you would connect to the other bedroom tv.

Should be controllng one box. is controlling 2 boxes

Unfortunately, there is no solution for this issue.  The remote control sends out an infrared signal, which can be picked up as far as 40' away from the device.  And to make things worse, the signal will reflect off any surface such as glass, mirrors, or even brightly painted walls.
The only way to solve the problem is to block the path of the beam to the other room.  This may require closing a door or drawing heavy drapes closed.
