This means the little wax motor on the soap cup dispenser has failed. Its a straight forward repair.

Are you using a high clean setting? We had one that had "pot scrubber" as a setting and it used a lot of electricity.Look to see if there is a low power setting using less heat. In general they do use a lot of energy.

The seals that the racks "plug" into need replaced. Ours had the same issue and replaced the seals and it works fine now.

Try to touch the lower door seal, it sometimes jumps out of its place when you open the dishwasher door. You may consider replacing the seal with a new one, I have to push the seal on my dishwasher to its proper place before every cycle. It is quite annoying, but free :-)

I have the same problem. I took the bottom sprayer assembly apart and found there is what Maytag calls a "seal kit" that has stripped threads. the part is plastic with a metal washer on the bottom and sits on top of the motor. To get to it, you have to remove the sprayer, shroud, pump housing and impeller. It is the part the impeller screws into, and may come out attached to the impeller.
I am have the part number as 99003341 and will be calling around for one later today. I will repost if this works.

Dont know if you still have this problem, what I did was this - press the start button and keep going until you reach the number '2'. Leave it at '2' and in a couple of seconds it will start draining the rest of the water. Worked for me.
