My insignia tv in the bedroom has no signal. It was working fine till I undid the cable in the living room. Moved the tv in the living room ...reconnected it. And now no signal in the bedroom.
If the remote control you've bought is a universal remote control, you have to set it with your TV, by TVs setup codes. The setup code list will be attached to the new remote controls' packing.
If you wish to get more details, check the sites linked

procedure to many popular brand remote controls are given. http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Selecting the view option, either to Mosaic

Hi,
To change one of your TV with another brand is not a wise decision indeed.
Well, Your TV has a remote sensor in the front side. Try to places both TV on opposite position. Otherwise use the used batteries on both of your TV remote commander. This will reduce its signal.

Hey there! Becki Barned from Dish Network customer service here!!! If you want to do this! You would need a tech to come out and install the DVRs in the new rooms. If you try to move the reveivers, you will only get an Acquiring Satellite Signal message. If this has not been resolved, you can find us on Twitter, or blog back!
It is most likely a signal issue. Bad coax connections, splitters and faulty cable are usually the culprit. Best to call your cable company and request a signal test. You may also try swapping tvs. Swap sony with viewsonic in the room where viewsonic tv is.
Unfortunately, there is no solution for this issue. The remote control sends out an infrared signal, which can be picked up as far as 40' away from the device. And to make things worse, the signal will reflect off any surface such as glass, mirrors, or even brightly painted walls.
The only way to solve the problem is to block the path of the beam to the other room. This may require closing a door or drawing heavy drapes closed.
