I have a Mr. Heater Big Max 75k Btu natural gas heater and when I turn my thermostat on the main burner lights and stays lit for a 45 seconds to 2 minutes, then goes out. It repeats this process and will never stay lit, I have let do this up to five times and it never stays lit. On the led light it never flash anything other than the fast light.

SOURCE: Heater Burner ignites but main blower motor will not turn on.

it sound like the blower motor may be seizing up. try spining the blade by hand to see if it feels free or not. the motor could be trying to turn but can then tripping itself out on overload. (most motors have built in safety overloads which will trip during an overcurrant event. aka too many amps.) you may have to replace blower motor

SOURCE: I have a mr. heater big maxx. It is a 75000 btu

the vent pressure switch will have a rubber type hose off it to the combustion fan housing. pull the hose off and poke the conector with a paper cilp or wire to make sure it is not plugged at the housing. make sure the vent fan is running and jumper the switch if it comes on replace the switch if not look else where for your problem.a volt meter is a great tool . voltage across a switch means it is open and no voltage means its colsed. i should say to also check your venting as it maybe blocked. there is no reset

The pilot is lit, the fan blows ,but the main burner will not light

This may sound silly but is the main gas valve on. Switch on top of the valve generally, turn it from pilot to ON.

make sure knob on gas valve(inside heater)is turned to on position.3/4" should be fine as long as heater is not larger than than 175,000 btu
