Hi everyone, I have got a panasonic KX TES824 system. The guy before me changed the default password of the system. How do i reset the password? I tried opening the box and i see two buttons. one reset and one clr/open or something. i pushed the reset button but it doesn't go to factory defaults. some one please help

the same; it doesnt change. let me make sure. this is what i did.

the pbx was in an on state. i changed the nor-> clear. then pressed the rest button (when reset button was pressed the led goes off) after approx 20 secs i released the reset button. and the led came up blinking. i switched off the pbx after led became stable. then moved the clr-> nor and then switched on the pbx.

but the macine has not reset.

1.Switch2 move CLR position
now green led blinking normally
2.press RESET button 20sec
after telese resset button led is blinking fastly
3. this time move the switch2 NORMAL position
now the led is stable.. PABX is reseted
