My Westinghouse sk26h590d keeps switching from YPB1 to YPB2 automatically then shows invalid format. In addition while in YPB1 I recently started having issues viewing digital channel while the HD ones work just fine. I have a VCR/DVD combo hooked up through the YPB2 and everything except HD channels work fine. I understand that the combo unit does not allow the HD channels to come through. Just curious if this is a TV issue or something else.

Invalid format is a message that means the screen resolution cannot display the information with the current setting. We need to know the make and model of the television and the input method that your are using.
If you accidentally set your PS 3 for 1080p resolution, when the TV can only support 720p, you get a black screen. The Westinghouse TV I used displayed a message that said "invalid format." To reset the PS 3 to the standard AV format, you shut the PS 3 off. Then you hold the PS 3’s power button down for about 10 seconds. It will reset to standard video
You will have to have it serviced most likely because there are no user serviceable parts. Unfortunately Westinghouse tv's are throwaways. In that once something goes wrong you replace it. Unfortunately thats why they are cheaper then the competitors. Thanks, Lee
