Hi, yes you can use plantronics 230 blue tooth for your blackberry phone. All you would need to do is to pair the device with your phone.that will do.

How to pair a phone to a blue tooth device?

Instructions

Pair Your Blackberry with a Blue-tooth Headset

Turn on Blue-tooth headset and Blackberry hand-held.

Enable the Blue-tooth radio by going to the options window and clicking on Blue-tooth. Click on Enable Blue-tooth in that window.

Add your Blue-tooth headset to your Blackberry by clicking on Add Device in the Blue-tooth window.

Find and select the name of your Blue-tooth headset from the list that appears. The Blackberry will search for all Blue-tooth devices within range, so other devices might show up on the list.

Click Activate Blue-tooth device if you receive a call and the Blue-tooth headset does not pick up automatically.

Use your Blue-tooth Headset with your Blackberry

Make sure the Blue-tooth radio on your Blackberry is turned on before you try to use your Blue-tooth headset.

Use the voice-dial feature to call contacts if your headset has that capability. Not all headsets support voice dialing, but more of the newer models do.

Press the on/off button on your headset to end a call or use the end button on the hand held.

Tips & Warnings

Pair your Blackberry with any Blue-tooth-enabled device using the same steps as those for connecting a Blue-tooth headset.

Remove your Blue-tooth headset from the list of paired devices on your Blackberry by selecting and clicking on Delete Device in the Bluetooth window.

Configure your Blackberry to connect to a paired Bluetooth headset without asking for authorization in the Bluetooth Device Properties window. That will allow your headset to automatically reconnect even if you take it out of range temporarily.

Only configure a Bluetooth headset to your Blackberry once. Once you configure the pairing between the two devices, the settings are saved and you do not have to repeat the processes each time you use it.

Turn off the Bluetooth radio on your Blackberry when not in use for security reasons.

Adjust volume on your headset or hand-held to a comfortable level. Excess volume from in-the-ear headsets can cause hearing damage.

The headset must be put into pairing mode. Once you make your Blackberry phone discoverable, then put the Plantronics 232 headset into pairing mode by pressing the call control button until it flashes red and blue. If it's not flashing red and blue, then it is not in pairing mode. Here is a link for the pairing instructions for the 230 headset (which is the same for the 232):

Im having a hard time pairng my blue tooth. its a plantronics 230

Here are a couple of things to try. First, remember that newer phones are like small computers, so they may become corrupt over time and you may need to reset them every so often. Simply turn your phone off and remove again the battery for a few seconds, then replace the battery and turn it back on again. Then reset the headset. The attached user guide for the Plantronics Explorer 230 on page 7 will show you how to turn off / on the headset and then page 4 will walk you through the pairing process. Remember to remove any lingering bluetooth connections from your phone.
