Place the TV on a flat bed preferably your mattress and look for the base mountings. The lock and base mount can be slid off and you can use a good wall mount that will support the weight to be fitted.

How to remove the base from panasonic TX-37LZD81

Panasonic flat panel televisions are packaged with a small television stand that users can attach to place the television on a flat surface. Some users, after attaching the stand, would prefer to hang the television on a wall instead. If the stand is still attached to the Panasonic TV, you cannot hang the television on the wall. Remove the stand from the TV to hang it on a wall.
Step 1
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and lay the television, screen down, on a towel. The towel helps prevent damage to the screen. Step 2
Remove the four retaining screws that secure the stand from the bottom of the television using the Phillips screwdriver. Step 3
Slide the stand out of the television. Place the stand and the screws in a safe place in the event you change your mind and decide to set up the television on the stand again. The television is now ready for hanging on a wall.

I need a Panasonic TV TH-42PD25 base stand! I've searched ebay, no luck. This might sound dumb, but can I use base stands from any of the other Panasonic 42" models?

You maybe lucky, but make sure the mounting holes on the stand matches your TV.
Alternately you can use a wall mounting and these have mounting holes that suit most TVs.

Unscrew the base screws attaching the base to the TV set, once the four screws have been removed, the TV can be seperated from the base as shown below. The circles are where the screws were on mine before I removed the base.

How do I remove the stand to mount the TV on the

the TV will mount to the wall via the VESA screw mounts on the back of the LCD. If it is a smaller, monitor sized LCD then the screw pattern will be either 75x75mm or 100x100mm. On larger TVs is it usually 100x200mm. Sometimes the base is screwed into this mount and othertimes to the bottom. Simply unscrew it from the screen. Be sure that the wall mounting kit can handle your LCDs VESA screw pattern, screen size and screen weight.

Cant get the stand off a panasonic 32 inch TX 32LXD60 to put on the wall

TX 32LXd60
Lay the tv face down on a flat surface. Do not scratch the screen ! Use a cloth.
Remove the 4 screws above the stand. Pull stand out. Replace screws.
You can get Operating Instructions from;
http://www.panasonic.co.uk/html/en_GB/Support/Downloads/220239/index.html#anker_220239

enter the model number- click search- and download the Operating Instructions . The Operating Instructions will illustrate the stand.

Wall mounting Panasonic Viera 32" tv

There's a little more elaboration required on the above post...You need to remember that the base has two long pins that go up into the TV. These pins are held in by two screws each. The screws are on each side of the TV (two vertical inline screws, inside a small inset section). Remove all four screws and the TV will come up off the base. Pull it straight and gently, but firmly, to unseat it from the pins.
