F27442 - How to display signal from front panel RCA video input

Most DVD players and maybe the Wi are connected via rear audio and video input jacks so that may be your issue.

There's no way to reset factory default but can access service menu, Hold down menu button on front panel and press volume up and power at the same time, on the top right screen, use volume up, Press to scroll to 72, press volume up and your are in the service menu.

Have you tried changing TV channels to "03" or "04"? for external input.

Sorry no.All CRT(tube tvs) are analog tv.It all digital now,must have Digitial converter box and a roof or digital antena to get the analog tv to get the free DTV digital signal.Or u must cable tv.Only LCD tvs have the digital tuner insidide to pick up the free DTV digital signal without the converter box.

You will need an RCA remote with an input button. You will find one at a discount store in electronics!

If your tv has input [rca connections] jacks, look at the original remote and use the input button.In some cases....pressing 00 on the remote will access an input. If you must a converter box...set your tv and the DVD player to channel 3.

REset your parental rating.

You can use the yellow RCA cable using an SVideo adaptor. When using dual displays make sure that display number 2 is adtive. To do that move the mouse to display 2 press the right mouse button and select active. Check extend desktop to the monitor to check the signal and press apply. Make sure you are using either an Svideo or RCA signal.

On either the front of the TV or a universal remote (which I assume you have already programmed) hit the MENU button. Go to option 4 "Channel". Go down to "List and Labels." Hit the CH up or down key until you see "FRNT" come up under the channel # heading. If your DVD is connected and playing, you'll see it playing now. Exit the menu to watch. You'll have to reverse the process to get back to watching TV, but there doesn't seem to be any way around this if you don't have your RCA remote. This process is guaranteed to work on an F27442 and will probably work on some other RCA models.
