Car was in for service and the battery dies - when they recharged, the radio lost its code and the manual does not have the code - how do i reset so i can use the radio again

have to put the radio code in sorry and you do this with the knurled knob on the right siode of the steering wheel ,look in the handbbok and it will tell you
if its the original unit and you have service warranty book for car should be on 1st page with car and key details, then just follow radio booklet code imputting instructions hope this helps...rich i
not sure.you could try discounting car battery but make sure you have radio code or radio will not work again.leave it disconnected for say 30min and reconnect battery.may reset alarm and computer.worth a try
most good dealers have the radio code in the service or log book, if it is not there, only option is to contact a dealer and ask them for it, (if it is on their records) most dealers can pull the code from the ecu via the obd2 connection or simular. this can be done on a service, good luck
I had a Laguna before the gearbox packed up. Nice car but a really bad gearbox. My radio was the same. What I used to do to get it going again was disconnect the battery and thereby power it down completely. After I reconnected the battery it allowed me to reenter the code as described in the radio manual.
