Hello i have Nokia N79 and i updated my phone with new
version 32.001 with Nokia Suite 3.5.34..
it installs successfully by installing service controllers programs and displays your phone is sucessfully reinstalled
but when it finishes there were several problems arises
(1) few keys (2,6,7,0) not working properly it respond after taking some time and then stops working
(2) the volume controls not functioning well when i increase
the volume it decreases and ultimately mute and then stops functioning
(3) camera controls not working properly when i try to click pics it "zooms"
and this zooms increases....camera controls not working in systematic manner......
from one month i reinstalled update many time but same problems arises may many time
it works fine for couple of days but ultimately the same above problem...
Firstly, try removing memory card to ensure its not a memory card problem.
then, i would suggest a hard reset to the problem. type *#7370# and enter your lock code. preset lock code is 12345.
Do note that it will reset the phone to factory settings and therefore you need to backup your data prior. Using nokia pc suite content backup is convenient, though you'll have to re-install all apps.
a clean format of your memory card from the phone is also recommended after the reset.

simply do normal reset of ur fone and after that reinsert sim,,,,it will b a better option if u re enter ur data in memory card......

Sounds like software crashing? But try this first. Sometimes it is just the memory card that is corrupt and the phone is trying to read the cards corrupt data. This would cause phone to lock up, react sluggish or perhaps turn off. Remove battery cover and on side you see card in slot. Push in and it will unlock and spring out. Now try turning on phone and see if it works? Memory cards can be reformated but usually when they go, its faulty. They are quite cheap now to buy and is a good time to upgrade to a larger memory. (no more than 2 gig though)
If it is the phones software that has gone it will need to be reinstalled. If the phone allows you to get into the menu try doing a 'Factory Restore' this may resolve issue? (warning - this also deletes all data stored on phone memory!)
