How can I turn off CC without remote on my Phillips Model 24PT6341/37 Flat Screen TV

that model number isnt coming up as a valid philips model

You can't turn CC option OFF, without its remote control.

It is in either the set or coming from the box you seem to be using---look in both menus---if no philips remote that CC got turned on somehow.............

Without knowing any more about what TV you have, I can give some quick general tips. Somewhere in the menu on your tv there is a option for using CC and you can turn it off and on in the menu section. Look at your remote real good and see if it has a CC button on it, most remotes have this built into them to make it easier for the operator to turn his feature on and off.

Check ur tv remote control for a button said CC on the remote.Press the CC button to turn off all the CC 1,2,3.. to all it to off.The captioning wording function,will not show up on the tv screen panel any more.

If you have the remote for the tv,just push the cc button or the display button until it says cc off on the screen.

turn on tv,it turns back off,without lighting screen.

YOU WILL NEED THE SPECIAL REMOTE TO DO THIS. AND I THINK SOME OF THEM HAVE ABILITY IN SERVICE MENU TO TURN OFF HOTEL MODE. OR YOU CAN TRY USING ANY PHILLIPS/MAGNAVOX REMOTE WITH THE STATUS BUTTON AND TRY THIS.
PRESS MENU-9-6-5-2-STATUS AND YOU SHOULD BE IN THE SERVICE MODE TURN OFF THE HOTEL MODE
