Pre setting the radio station on the keh-p2800 cassette player

I don't have an owners manual to this cassette player so everytime i re-start my engine i have to retune to my desired radio station, and reset my bass and tremble because i don't know how to preset the radio stations and other functions so as i don't have to continue doing this everytime i restart my engine or turn off my ignition switch please help.

HAS TO BE A CONSTANT POWER WIRE THAT CONTROLS CLOCK AND SETTINGS SHOULD BE A 16-14 GUAGE WIRE THE SAY 12+ AND HAS TO BE HOOKED INTO A CURCUIT HAS IS POWERED ALL THE TIME (NOT ONLY WHEN IGNITION IS TURNED ON)

ipods come with a transmitter that plugs into the ipod. it has an fm radio instruction manual tells you what frequency to tune to and how to select the station on the transmitter. this way you dont wire anything into your cd player, providing it has fm radio.

You can download your manual here at this website, But usually its red for your ign.switch yellow for your battery black for your ground. The other are your speaker you can check by hooking them up by your balance and fade left to right and front to rear to narrow it down to which one

Lcd can only be seen when I shin a light on it

the backlight has burned out and is difficult to replace. it requires dissasembally and soldering new lights in place

How and where to connect an AUX source (e.g. MP3 player)?

Cassete players do not have Aux Inputs.
You will need to use an FM Modulator type Aux device that will broadcast to a radio station preset on your radio.

Sony car radio/CR/cassette doesn't hold pre recorded radio stations once ignition is turned off

run the yellow wire to the battery as its the memory wire and that will work if it is installed correctly and still does the same it can be the battery even if the battery still works.

Uninstalling KEH P2800 from dash 92 GMC Safari

Hi,

I believe you can pop the bezel loose using a butterknife to pry on it. do not force it too much as it will break. Use 2 Butter knives, one on each edge to release the Deck. Once the catches are held back by the knives, pull the unit straight out.
